First Grade News

Supply List for 2008-2009

Dear Parents,
    Below is a list of necessary supplies for first grade.  This list is very specific.  Please purchase ONLY the items listed....nothing more, nothing less.  The list contains specific brand names for some items because we have had trouble with off-brands.  Thank you for helping to get your child off to the right start!

• 4 boxes of Crayola 16 of 24 count crayons

• 4 LARGE Elmer's glue sticks

• 1 package of yellow #2 pencils, Papermate or Ticonderoga

• 1 marble covered composition book

• 1 spiral notebook, 70 pages

• 1 package of basic eraser caps

• 1 jumbo eraser

• 1 package of UNLINED 3x5 index cards

• 1 ream of copy paper

• 1 pair of Fiskar scissors, pointed

• 1 supply box, standard size (8" x 4")

• 1 roll of paper towels

• 1 LARGE box of tissues

• 6 Mead folders with brads and pockets - red, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange

• 1 package of baby wipes

• 1 box of sandwich size Ziploc bags

• 1 large bottle of hand sanitizer, 40 oz. (girls only)

• 1 refill size liquid hand soap (boys only)

• 1 box of 2 gallon Ziploc bags, (girls only)

• 1 box of 1 gallon Ziploc bags, (boys only)

• 1 set of individual head phones

No Rolling Backpacks!

We do not carry any heavy items in first grade and we do not have space for rolling backpacks.
