Welcome to Sandalwood High School
Founded in 1971, Sandalwood started as Sandalwood Junior / Senior High School.  Sandalwood is Duval County's largest school and is proud to offer a wide range of academic programs, athletics and activities to suit students from all walks of life.
Class of 1988 - 20 Year Reunion

Duval County Public Schools Websites and Email to Change Names Again
Beginning February 1, the new extension for DCPS websites and email addresses will change to duvalschools.org. Websites will be sitename@duvalschools.org and email will be name@duvalschools.org
Sandalwood's Teacher of the Year

Geospatial Technology Academy Comes To Sandalwood
Geospatial technology is the utilization of four distinct technologies to gather, analyze, and present information for decision-making, tracking, and verification (GIS, GPS, Remote Sensing, and Surveying).  Through Sandalwood's Academy, a student can earn full certification as a GIS Technician.  Click on the following links for more information and applications.

Curriculum and Attendance Offices Have Moved
The Attendance Office is now located in the Annex.  Please go there to check out a student.  The Curriculum Office has been moved to the main building with the Guidance Department.  All phone extensions should remain the same.

We now have another place to view sports schedules and scores, as well as other school activities on the calendar.
Sandalwood is sad to announce the death of Cathy Ash

Our friend and colleague,  Cathy Ash, former English Teacher at Sandalwood HS, died earlier this morning (June 20).  In lieu of flowers she requested that you  make donations in memory of Cathy Ash to Dreams Come True, 6803 Southpoint Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32216. Sandalwood Academy of Information Technology (S.A.IN.T.) opened this year.
This new academy will help students in several computer related paths such as web development and networking.
