It’s that time of year again!
Preparation for the 2007/2008 school year is in full
swing! Duval County Public Schools’ (DCPS) staff has
been working feverishly during the summer months to
prepare for a flawless first day.
This time of year can be
extremely busy for students and parents. There are so
many things to do to prepare for the coming year—finish
up summer reading lists, register for school/classes,
make and attend doctor appointments for physicals,
purchase school supplies, and try to enjoy the last few
weeks of rest and relaxation before the new school year
begins.
To provide help and guidance
to students and parents, DCPS has identified the most

serve as a one-stop-online-shop where students and
parents can easily find links to the district’s most
utilized web pages. We’ve also included links to other
sites with helpful back to school resources.
When is my school’s open
house? What school supplies does my child need?
