wise guys' book club

Did you know that during the 2004-05 school year, students participating in the Superintendent's Book Club read over 1 million books?

In an effort to promote reading among Duval County Public Schools' students, the Wise Guys' Book Club was created. The Book Club is open to students who meet the 25-book reading standard.

All Duval County Public School students in Kindergarten through 12th grade are eligible to participate in the Superintendent's Book Club. When students reach the 25-book goal, they qualify for recognition. Reading more books may qualify students for greater rewards. Each year, members of the Book Club are invited to attend a special picnic held in their honor.
